It’s been 4 months since Planner Life Academy wedding planner workshop and when I think about it, I can’t help but smile. So excited to share with you the photos from Lorely Meza and recap of the workshop day by day. Enjoy!

When I wake up on the morning of the first day of Planner Life Academy’s 3 Day In Person Workshop, my feelings are similar to that on Christmas morning. It’s the start of the 3 best days of the year! I get up super early and sit in hair and makeup (thank you Design Visage!!) and run through some of my opening talking points for the day. When doors open, an immediate calm comes over my nerves and the excitement leads as I get to say hello and welcome our attendees.

We start the day with introductions and goal setting to get to know each other and set intentions for our time together. I love the confidence some planners have from the start, and others come really open and honest about confidence being something they are coming to work on. Whatever brings a planner to academy, I am so honored to be apart of their journey.

We had 21 Planners from 5 different states! Planners just starting out to planners celebrating 10 years. One of the special things is how those different stages help the conversations, education and insight for everyone.

Day 1 is really about setting the foundation of your business, we dive into The Business of Wedding Planning, Services, Pricing & Sales, Client Experience, Knowing your Numbers & More. We take an oath to not provide planning services for coordination clients, something we have all been guilty of!

Then we walk through my tried and true rehearsal practice process - one of my favorite parts! Every planner should feel calm and confident running a ceremony rehearsal. If that’s somewhere you are feeling nervous, be sure to grab my FREE REHEARSAL RECORDING.

There are so many wedding planners with different stories, different personalities, styles and business that have all found success in their own way. So it’s so important to me that we have other planners come in and share insight and advice.
