How much experience do i need before attending LVL Academy?
Here’s one of the best things about LVL Academy: the curriculum was created to help planners at all stages of their careers. It is SO HARD to get a job in weddings without any experience or education. Our workshops give you the foundation you need. Aspiring planners will be able to add LVL Academy graduate to their resume and give them the edge to standout from other applicants!
I already am a wedding planner, will i learn anything?
Are you self taught? Have you ever heard the saying - You don't know what you don't know? We have had attendees with zero experience, a handful of weddings, and some who have been a planner for 1-8 years. All levels have shared they could not believe how much they learned! The combined knowledge of the instructors with 20+ years and the insight from the speakers and sponsors is a level of insight and education you could not possible get on you own.
What are the differences between the in person and virtual workshops?
When attending the in-person workshops or virtual workshops you will learn much of the same content. The biggest differences come down to the experience of real time instruction vs learning on your own terms.
Our in-person workshops offer the opportunity to spend two days with us! Allow you to network with the industry’s top creatives, get one-on one time with the instructors and meet like-minded people to build your community and have those real-time discussions with. Making connections like this can be invaluable to elevating your career or business.
Virtual workshops have the benefit of being able to learn when it is convenient for you. Stream the videos and learn anywhere, anytime. You will have access to the content for 6 months, making it easy to learn at your own pace and go back to rewatch any topic you want.
I do not live or work in california, will what you teach be applicable to my market?
The instructors behind LVL Academy have also worked in Southern & Northern California, Hawaii, Arizona, Colorado, South Carolina, New York, Hungary, Italy, Australia and Mexico. We bring a tried and true process and perspective that can be applied to any wedding market.
We have had attendees from all over the country and internationally, they have all raved about gaining a more well rounded perspective of planning, much more in depth than they could have learned from a local workshop.
What is the planner life community
Our Planner Life Community is two things : 1. Our members email list so you are in the know for tips, tools, new workshop dates and exclusive deals. 2. do you receive the same templates and tools with the virtual workshop?
Yes you do. Our workshops, both in person or virtual come with templates and handout including : 60 Day Checklist, Timeline Templates, Sales Call Templates and so much more!
I am interested in other areas of the wedding industry, maybe not a planner. Will the workshop still be worth it for me?
100%! You will learn from photographers, catering sales managers, catering owners, cinematographers, floral designers and much more. At each workshop, speakers vary and we are so proud to bring you the best of the best in the industry!
